Problem to Solve: Defining ways for healthcare systems and the healthcare industry to educate and fight human trafficking in America and aid in the greater global mission to address this societal problem, so that healthcare professionals may identify and assist victims of human trafficking when they encounter such victims during medical treatment.
Summary: The purpose of this esteemed panel is to bring the importance of this issue to the forefront of the healthcare community and empower them with a call to action and imperative to explore ways to fight human trafficking when victims present for treatment in healthcare facilities, thus transforming healthcare as a leader of positive change.
