More Women are Going “Above and Beyond” in the Workplace

Companies may be worried about their employees “quiet quitting,” but women leaders are now saying, “I’m just not that into you” and leaving their jobs. Organizations are calling this the “Great Breakup” with women exiting their roles en masse. According the latest report from McKinsey/Leanin.org, 10.5% of female leaders broke up with their employer over the past year. In recent Purple Strategies polling of the US Informed Public, women report that they are putting in personal contributions and effort in the workplace in the “above and beyond” category, with 61% of women workers making this self-assessment. Half (50%) of men make that same self-assessment.
