Mixed Reaction among American Workers on Their Ability to Encourage Workplace Change

Workers across industries are in high demand as unemployment remains low and demand for goods and services continues to surge in the summer months. But not all employees feel an increased sense of leverage about their ability to effect change within their workplaces now vs the start of the pandemic.

In fact, only around half (48%) of employed members of the US Informed Public feel that they have MORE influence today to encourage change within their own workplace versus two years ago; as many (52%) feel that they have the same or even LESS influence to encourage change than they did two years ago – before the pandemic and Great Resignation fundamentally changed most Americans’ relationship to work.
