Majority Supports Firing Employees Who Don’t Comply With Vaccination Policies

Returning to workplaces safely has been a focus for leaders across the country, and some executives have sought this accomplishment out through vaccination policies. From aviation to banking to healthcare, companies across industries have put vaccination policies into place that require their employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or lose their jobs. The Mayo Clinic was recently in the news after announcing it was enforcing its policy and firing employees who were not in compliance. Following this announcement, a majority (57%) of the Informed Public says that other companies should do the same. This sentiment is even stronger when it comes to health care facilities with 66% agreeing hospitals should take similar action to the Mayo Clinic and fire their employees if they do not comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
