Great Resignation Conversations Heat Up on Social Media

The Great Resignation continues to impact companies as workers quit their jobs at heightened rates. Many journalists, economists and employers are focused on uncovering the reasons behind this phenomenon, which has brought the investigation to public conversations on social media.

On social channels, while employers and company leadership are a focal point of discussion, more of the conversation focuses on employees’ demands and reasons for quitting. As social media chats continue to center on employees – the “first movers” of the Great Resignation – and their employment experiences, they will soon focus on expectations of employers: what leaders are doing or should be doing to retain and attract talent.
