There is no shortage of literature on the value a strong reputation creates for companies. One source of that value is creating a base of advocates with some of the people closest to the business: its own employees. A Purple Strategies survey of the Informed Public in August showed that 62% said they would be more likely to publicly defend their employer around an issue, and 79% said they would be more likely to recommend their employer to other potential hires, if their company had a strong reputation.
When organizations navigate this complex business environment, it helps to have ambassadors inside their own walls. A strong reputation not only creates trust among existing employees but also can lead to a stronger recruitment pipeline.
