Calin Rovinescu was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Canada in April 2009. Mr. Rovinescu first joined Air Canada in 2000 as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy, where he was Chairman of, and had oversight for many of the airlines businesses including: loyalty management (Aeroplan), regional carriers (Jazz) and maintenance, repair and overhaul (ACTS).
