The majority (66%) of companies plan to operate in a hybrid work model post-pandemic, acknowledging the fundamental shifts in how many of us worked over the past year and employees’ desire for workplace flexibility going forward. CEOs building their hybrid work plans are considering multiple factors, including workforce (who’s remote and who’s in person) and workweek (core ‘in office” days, remote Fridays). According to new research on employees’ preferences for where they engage in certain work activities, company leaders should also incorporate in their hybrid planning those aspects of their work that employees prefer to conduct in person and those on which they feel they do their best work virtually.
