Joseph Hansen serves as Managing Director of The CEO Forum Digital, where his goal is to democratize success for all aspiring CEOs.
Joseph Hansen is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive with a track record of success. Having founded and sold six companies since 2007, Joseph is a true leader in his field, and his innovation and leadership have earned him numerous accolades, including being named to Comparably’s 2020 Top CEO list and Top CEO for Women list. In 2021, he was recognized by the CEO Forum Journal as a Transformative CEO.
Joseph’s success in the business world is marked by his ability to build and grow companies, including the PROSPER Show, which he co-founded in 2015 with James Thomson. Under his leadership, the conference grew from a two-person startup to become the largest US-based educational conference for Amazon Sellers, culminating in a successful sale to Emerald Expositions (NYSE: EEX) in 2017. As a thought leader, Joseph also co-authored ‘The Amazon Marketplace Dilemma’ and co-hosted The Buy Box Experts Podcast, sharing valuable insights and advice to help companies grow their brands on Amazon.
In 2013, Joseph founded Buy Box Experts, leading the company’s growth and acquisition of several other companies to become a top performer in the industry. Buy Box Experts has earned recognition for its expertise and performance, as well as its unique company culture and emphasis on employee development. The company’s success was further recognized when it was awarded the #2187 rank on the 2021 Inc 5000 award list, culminating in its acquisition by Spreetail in May of 2021.
As the Chief Marketing Officer at Spreetail, Joseph led the company’s marketing efforts to new heights, building it into the #1 marketplace accelerator brand in the world (currently generating $1bn+ in GMV). Joseph led the brand strategy, advertising, growth marketing, e-commerce programs, B2B marketing, PR, and agency services divisions of the company, driving its success forward.
Joseph’s commitment to innovation and leadership extends beyond his business ventures. He is also the CEO of Eubrain, a neuroscience company providing cutting edge training and support to businesses, athletic teams, and schools. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in exercise physiology, Joseph is also passionate about faith, family, leadership, and athletics. He is a devoted family man, volunteer, and coach, and actively works to help others achieve their full potential through his involvement in numerous board advisory positions with both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
