Making the World more energy efficient
Michael Thaman, CEO of Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 listed company for more than 56 years, talks with host Robert Reiss about ways to increase energy efficiency in homes and industry. Thaman also suggests appropriate energy policy priorities, and defines the extent of possible energy savings. Thaman further identifies important other benefits that accompany improvements in energy efficiency such as reducing dependence on imported oil, improving the balance of payments, and decreasing air emissions, and he also mentions how Owens Corning products contribute to that progress.
